Step 1: Register

Registration is FREE and it only takes a few minutes.
You must register with Liquidity Services in order to place bids or purchase equipment from our web site.

To register, click on the "Register" button located at the top of every page and follow the on-screen instructions. If you encounter any problems during the registration process please contact our Customer Services Helpdesks:

After submitting your registration you will receive a confirmation email confirming your registration.

Step 2: Finding Items For Sale

We make it easy for you to buy items by allowing you to search our entire site for specific items. You can search in the following various ways:

Home Page

  • 'Sealed Bid Auctions' located at the top of the page, this highlights in date order the six earliest upcoming Sealed Bid Auctions
  • 'Open Internet Auctions' highlights in date order the three earliest upcoming Open Internet Auctions
  • 'Featured Catalogue Sales' promotes three specially chosen items from our Sales Catalogue (see below)

Browsing Product Categories

You can browse the various product categories that are accessible from the navigation at the top of each page.

Browsing by Auction

From the navigation at the top left of each page, you can 'Browse Auctions':

  • By location - UK or Germany
  • By viewing 'All Auctions' currently active
  • Or by viewing the 'Auctions Calendar' which lists all scheduled events and allows you to download Excel worksheets of all items within an auction

Alternately you can use the 'Search Auctions' tool which allows you to specify and search for the exact items you are looking for in active on-line auctions.

Email Alerts

If you sign up to receive our Email Alerts, you will receive regular auction related emails of specific interest to you and occasional Special Alert emails highlighting deals of special interest.

You can sign-up for these at any time and do not need to be registered in order to receive them. You can remove yourself from these mailing lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all mailings.

Sales catalogue

Browse the Sales Catalogue for a wide range of items in a selection of categories available in Fixed Price Sales.

Search Agents

The Search Agent is a product search that you create based on your inventory needs. This feature will automatically send you an email each week detailing products that have appeared on our site which match your interests.

You can set up as many Search Agents as you like, either during the registration process or at a later date. Updates, amendments and / or deletions can be made at any time by logging into 'MyAccount' and clicking on the Profile / Alert Preferences tab.

Search our Stock

You can use the 'Search Our Stock' facility to find items that meet your specific criteria. You can search by using full or partial criteria for Description, Part Number, NATO Stock or Number. From the search results displayed you can also request a quotation direct from our Sales team.

Step 3: Bidding

You must have registered and logged in prior to being able to place bids.

For Single Bids:

Select an event that is currently open. Go to the lot of interest you, scroll down to the bottom of the page and use the 'Place Bid' box to type in the maximum price you are willing to pay.

For Multiple Bids:

Use the 'Watchlist' feature.

Step 4: Winning an Auction

If you are the winner of one or more lots in an Auction:

  • You will receive a confirmation email after the Auction has closed, containing detailed payment instructions
  • Full payment must be received within 72 hours of the successful bidder email date / time
  • Goods must be collected within 72 hours of your payment being cleared

Step 5: Manage Your Account

  • Track your account status online through the My Account page to stay updated on payment information
  • Manage all of your transactions from the 'Invoices' tab
  • Track the auctions you are bidding on and those you are just 'Watching' through the 'Watchlist' tab
  • Update your Search Agent Preferences from the 'Profile > Alert Preferences' Tab
  • View and modify your Email Alert preferences by clicking on 'Email Alerts' in the left-hand navigation under Buyer Support and following the 2 Step Process
